Founded in the early 1900s under the name of its founder , Mario Monsumo, COELMO ( Costruzioni Eletlromeccaniche Monsurro ) was first located in Casoria (Naples ). Since then, the company’s core business activity has been the production of generator sets ( form 3 to 3000 KVA ).
Experience and skill required throughout the years have allowed the company to increase its product range and consolidate its position in the uninterruptible electrical power sector. The company now has three production plants, one in Marcianise ( Caserta ) and two in Acerra (Napoli ), covering an area of 37.000 sq m. COELMO’s Quality System is certified and complies with ISO 9001 – 150 11001- SA8000 and OHSAS 18001:07 standards and is the result of a combination of the latest technology with the experience of those who have been working in the industry for three generations. Constant investment in technological Innovation ( around 8% of annual turnover ) has led to significant increases in production system efficiency ( “zero – corn plain project° ) and has brought COELMO Energy Systems to the very top of world electromechanical and electronic production. Thanks to integrated design and production, together with an optimal location of facilities , located a few kilometers from the main ports of the Mediterranean (Naples and Salerno) and the airport of Naples- Capodichino, Coelmo is able to promptly meet energy needs of any nature and in any site condition.
